1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using iSwap (the "Service"), available at iswap.is, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

iSwap is a decentralized exchange aggregator interface. The Service:

  • Provides a user interface to interact with decentralized exchange protocols
  • Aggregates prices from multiple liquidity sources via 0x Protocol
  • Does NOT custody, control, or hold your funds at any time
  • Does NOT execute trades — you interact directly with smart contracts
  • Does NOT provide financial, investment, or trading advice

3. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally permitted to use cryptocurrency services in your jurisdiction
  • Not located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency trading is prohibited
  • Not on any sanctions list or prohibited from using DeFi services

Users in Iceland should verify compliance with local regulations regarding cryptocurrency.

4. Non-Custodial Service

iSwap is a non-custodial service. This means:

  • You maintain full control of your wallet and private keys
  • We cannot access, freeze, or recover your funds
  • We cannot reverse, cancel, or modify any blockchain transactions
  • You are solely responsible for securing your wallet

5. Fees

iSwap charges a platform fee of 0.75% on swap transactions. This fee is:

  • Automatically included in swap quotes
  • Collected at the time of transaction execution
  • Non-refundable once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain

Additional network gas fees are paid directly to blockchain validators and are not controlled by iSwap.

6. Referral Program

iSwap offers a referral program where users may earn a portion of fees from referred users. Referral earnings are subject to:

  • Minimum claim thresholds
  • Processing times for USDC payouts
  • Modification or termination at our discretion

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Attempt to manipulate prices or markets
  • Use bots or automated systems to abuse the Service
  • Circumvent geographic restrictions
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or attempt to compromise the Service

8. Risks

Using decentralized finance involves significant risks including but not limited to:

  • Smart contract vulnerabilities
  • Price volatility and slippage
  • Impermanent loss
  • Regulatory changes
  • Loss of private keys
  • Network congestion and failed transactions

9. No Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous, uninterrupted access
  • Accuracy of price quotes
  • Successful execution of transactions
  • Compatibility with all wallets or networks

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iSwap shall not be liable for any:

  • Loss of funds or profits
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Damages arising from third-party services or protocols
  • Damages from unauthorized access to your wallet

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iSwap and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via the website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
